On August 4, 2021 onwards, National Park Office announced the prohibition of 4 chemicals in sunscreen can not be allowed to use in the park. Th fine is 100,000 Baht for the violation of the laws.

The list of the 4 chemicals is 
Oxybenzone (Benzophenone-3, BP-3)
Octinoxate (Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate)
4-Methylbenzylid Camphor (4MBC)
Butylparaben

The reason behind this is that those chemicals inhibits the develoment of baby reef.
